Learning about business. Italy in our museums and business archives | Galleria BPER Banca and Museimpresa

Collaboration between Pavesio e Associati with Negri-Clementi and BPER Banca goes on in 2024.

Following the exhibition “All that glitters is not gold” by Fabrizio Dusi, curated by Giorgia Ligasacchi – Art Consultant of the Studio – at BPER Banca Private Cesare Ponti, Galleria BPER Banca has joined the project “Learning about business. Italy in our museums and business archives”. The initiative is promoted by Museimpresa, the Liuc Heritage Hub and the Archives of industrial cinema and corporate communication, with the aim of spreading knowledge about business culture in Italian schools and providing new generations with transversal skills for the future.

The educational course conceived by Galleria BPER Banca, named “crowdfund-art“, involves about 50 students of classes 4A and 4DL – respectively from Classical and Linguistic address – of the “Muratori-San Carlo” Institute of Modena and has as its ultimate goal the purchase of the work of art “IT’S (NOT) ONLY A MOVIE” (2024) by Fabrizio Dusi.

The artwork, which will then be exhibited in a common area of the school and therefore visible to everyone, was selected after a first meeting with the artist and the curator that took place at the school on Thursday, February 11, 2024. Among the topics addressed by Dusi, the students expressed their interest and involvement in the fight against violence, meant in all its meanings, as well as the importance of memory and communication, themes selected to raise the awareness of the student community and the teaching staff and to stimulate a virtuous reflection.

For the project to take place, the students acivated a fundraising campaign on Produzioni dal Bassothe first Italian crowdfunding and social innovation platform – until 15th April 2024 in order to reach the necessary amount to purchase the work.
